Dinner party performance / Theme: Black x White
For one year, I was invited to create performances each month for dinner parties hosted by Jessica Gath and Christo Wood. They would determine a theme for the evening, curate the guest list, and dream up an exquisite menu. My performance would happen somewhere during the flow of the evening. The process of making the piece began with considering the theme and the guests. I would then spend studio time in their house each week, searching out my site specific response by exploring their house and moving their things around.
